Denim Tears is Tremaine Emory's label, founded in 2019 and built around narratives of the African diaspora and American slavery. Its signature is the cotton wreath motif printed on Levi's 501s, sweatpants, hoodies and tees, alongside collegiate knits and graphic outerwear. Collaborations span Levi's, Dior, Stussy, Champion, Converse, UGG and ASICS. Emory served as Supreme's creative director from 2022 until leaving in 2023, and remains independent owner of the brand. Denim Tears pieces are held in The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute collection.
