Marc Jacobs

Founded in New York in 1984 by Marc Jacobs and Robert Duffy, the label covers runway ready-to-wear, accessories, footwear and beauty. Its commercial core is leather goods — The Tote Bag, Snapshot and J Marc — plus Heaven by Marc Jacobs, a youth line built on subculture graphics, grunge references and artist collaborations. In May 2026 LVMH agreed to sell the brand for a reported $850 million to a joint venture of WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group, with G-III taking the operating business under licence. Jacobs continues as creative director.
