Sandcloud Towels

Sand Cloud is a San Diego beach lifestyle label founded in 2014 by Brandon Leibel, Steven Ford and Bruno Aschidamini, three friends who prototyped a Turkish cotton beach towel with a built-in pillow. The founders secured a $200,000 deal with Robert Herjavec on a 2017 Shark Tank episode, and revenue reached roughly $7 million by 2018. The range now spans towels, blankets, apparel, bags, hats and sunscreen in bright coastal prints. The company donates 10% of profits to marine conservation groups and is opening its own retail stores, including one in Pacific Beach.
