Van Cleef & Arpels

Van Cleef & Arpels is a French high jewelry and watch maison founded in 1906 by Alfred Van Cleef and Estelle Arpels at 22 Place Vendôme, Paris. It is wholly owned by Richemont, which bought 60% in 1999 and completed full ownership in 2003; Catherine Rénier became CEO in September 2024, succeeding Nicolas Bos. Core lines include the Alhambra four-leaf-clover motif, Perlée, Frivole and Lucky Animals, plus the Zip necklace, patented Mystery Set stones and Poetic Complications watches. It raised global retail prices roughly 5% in April 2025.
