Akoia Swim makes hand-crocheted swim and resortwear founded by Reo Palmer, Inka Williams and Frances Elliott, who were teenagers in Bali when they started the label. Pieces are crocheted by Balinese women artisans in locally sourced cotton with natural dyes, alongside triangle and strapless bikini sets, matching short sets, and crochet mini and maxi dresses. Prices run roughly $150-$300 for swim and $275-$450 for dresses. The brand sells through its own site, Moda Operandi and FWRD, including an FWRD-exclusive crochet capsule of hats, sets and dresses.
