What to know about ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo
ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo is a New York label founded in 2012 by former Esquire style director Tony Melillo, who built it around slub-jersey Schoolboy tees sold at Barneys New York before expanding into full men's and women's sportswear, cashmere knitwear, velour and tailored-casual separates. Steven Madden Ltd. acquired the brand in November 2024 for roughly $9.8 million, retaining Melillo as creative director; a rebooted SoHo flagship at 107 Spring Street followed, and Jim Kuerschner joined as president in May 2026 to grow direct-to-consumer and wholesale.
