Carl Friedrik

Carl Friedrik is a London-based leather goods and luggage label founded by Swedish brothers Niklas and Mattis Oppermann and still independently run by them. Selling direct-to-consumer, it began with vegetable-tanned leather wallets, folios and briefcases before expanding into hard-shell travel luggage in 2019, led by the aluminium-framed Palissy carry-on. Design follows Scandinavian and Bauhaus minimalism: clean silhouettes, no external logos, tan, navy and black palettes. The range now covers backpacks, weekenders, work bags, small leather goods and desk accessories aimed at travelling professionals, backed by a lifetime guarantee.
