Dearfoams

Dearfoams is the slipper brand of R.G. Barry Corporation, founded in 1947 by Florence Melton, who used then-new foam rubber to make lightweight, washable house slippers. The Columbus, Ohio company still concentrates on at-home comfort footwear: memory-foam scuffs, clogs, moccasins, bootie slippers and indoor/outdoor styles with durable rubber outsoles, distributed mainly through mass-market and department-store retail plus direct e-commerce. R.G. Barry also owns the Baggallini handbag label and Columbus Product Group, and describes Dearfoams as the leading slipper brand in the United States.
