J. Schreter

J. Schreter is a family-run clothing and footwear store at 4358 boulevard Saint-Laurent, at the corner of Marie-Anne, in Montreal's Plateau-Mont-Royal. Romanian immigrant Joseph Schreter founded the business in 1928, first selling from a shop on St. Dominique Street. A fire in late 1955 sent it to its current corner, and relatives took it over in 1958. The store sells name-brand everyday apparel and footwear for men and women, including Blundstone boots, On running shoes and Skechers. It also runs an online shop at schreter.com.
