Kiwame Tokyo

Kiwame Tokyo is an independent watch microbrand based in Asakusa, Tokyo. Veteran watch distributor Masami Watanabe founded it in 2025 around the idea of "honest watchmaking". It makes compact automatic dress and field watches with Miyota movements, inspired by the 1940s Calatrava style, with lacquered dials, sapphire crystals and touches drawn from Japanese architecture. Its collections include Kurotsuki/Usuki, Iwao, Mune and Kubo, plus the rectangular Yane. Most models cost about $650–730 and sell in small numbered runs from its own website and its Asakusa salon.
