M.J. Bale

M.J. Bale is a Sydney-based, Australian-owned menswear label founded in 2009 by Matt Jensen, the "M.J." in its name. It makes tailored suits, jackets, trousers, shirts, knitwear and casualwear, and sources much of its wool from Tasmania's Kingston farm. Italian mills weave the cloth and Japanese makers finish it. The brand dresses Australian national sports teams, has been a Certified B Corporation since 2024 and runs about 60 stores across Australia and New Zealand. Its first UK flagship, on London's Jermyn Street, opens in November 2026.
