What to know about MARGESHERWOOD
MARGESHERWOOD is a Seoul-based accessories label founded in 2016 by designers Sungeun Um and Soonyoung Kim, named after a character from Patricia Highsmith's The Talented Mr. Ripley. The brand reworks 1990s handbag archetypes into softly slouched leather silhouettes with rounded proportions and no visible logos, led by cult styles such as the Boston bag, Bessette shoulder bag and Grandma tote. It now extends into apparel, footwear and small leather goods, and opened its first flagship in Seoul's Seongsu district. Stockists include SSENSE, END., Nordstrom and Revolve.
