Peter Millar is an American golf and lifestyle apparel label founded in 2001 in Raleigh, North Carolina, beginning with a single cashmere sweater. It makes performance polos, quarter-zips, tailored sportswear, outerwear and travel-oriented pieces, split across lines including Crown Sport performance, Crown Crafted tour wear and its Collection sportswear. The brand sells through pro shops, country clubs, specialty retailers and a growing network of its own stores. Swiss group Richemont bought it from Winona Capital Management in 2012 and still runs it as a Fashion & Accessories maison alongside golf label G/FORE.
