S.T. Dupont

S.T. Dupont is a Parisian maison founded in 1872 by Simon Tissot Dupont, who opened a leather workshop making travel cases before the house launched its first luxury lighter in 1941. It now produces lacquered lighters, fountain pens and a substantial leather goods line spanning briefcases, document holders, travel bags, backpacks, totes, pouches and wallets, plus fragrance. Pieces are built around Chinese lacquer, palladium and gold finishes, with bags typically priced from roughly €700 to €2,500. The company trades on Euronext Paris and is majority-controlled by Hong Kong's Dickson Concepts.
