Songmont

Songmont is a Chinese leather goods label founded in 2013 by Fu Song and Wang Jie after Fu, a former UX designer, failed to find a laptop bag that was both functional and beautiful. Production began with a "Granny Team" of artisans in her native Shanxi, and the brand still mines Shanxi architecture and craft for its sculptural, minimalist bags such as the four-way Luna crescent. It runs roughly 20 mainland stores, ships worldwide, and stages annual "Song of Mont" exhibitions during Paris Fashion Week. It remains independent.
