Sophie Buhai

Sophie Buhai is an independent Los Angeles jewelry and objects label founded in 2015 by the designer, who previously co-founded womenswear brand Vena Cava (2003-2014). The line centers on heavy sterling silver and vermeil: Egg and Circle earrings, chunky chain and pearl necklaces, signet and dome rings, plus silver homewares. Designs draw on 1970s modernism and ancient forms, and pieces are handmade in Los Angeles using recycled metals. The brand marked its tenth anniversary in 2025 with a one-of-a-kind presentation in Paris, and sells direct plus through Ssense, Net-a-Porter and Totokaelo-style boutiques.
