The Block

The Block is an independent multi-brand boutique at 350 West Cordova Street in Vancouver's Gastown. It has operated since 1999 and sells women's and men's clothing, shoes, bags and accessories from a heritage-building storefront. It mixes hard-to-find international labels like A.P.C., Henrik Vibskov, Filippa K, Y.M.C., Oliver Spencer, Universal Works and No 6 Store with local designers and handmade jewelry. A footwear department, added in 2009, carries brands such as Loeffler Randall and Shoe the Bear. It also ships across Canada through its online store.
