It makes womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, bags and accessories built on simple, wearable Parisian basics, led by the 1979 snap cardigan ("cardigan pression"), still produced in Troyes, France. Artist T-shirts and long-running ties to art, cinema and music give it cult status, especially in Japan, where it has sold since 1983 and opened a Matsuya Ginza flagship in October 2026.
