Altuzarra
Altuzarra is a New York womenswear house launched in 2008 by French-American designer Joseph Altuzarra, who trained at Marc Jacobs and Givenchy. Its ready-to-wear centers on sensual tailoring, draped and knit dresses, corsetry-inflected detailing and print, shown on the New York Fashion Week calendar. Kering took a 40 percent minority stake in 2013; Altuzarra bought it back in October 2020 and ran self-funded before fashion investment firm P180 took an undisclosed minority position. Joseph Altuzarra now also serves as chief executive, working alongside president Marta Lastra.
