Aubero

Aubero is a New York menswear label founded in 2022 by American designer Julian Louie, who trained as an architect at The Cooper Union before leading womenswear design roles. The brand applies a preservationist approach to material, reworking vintage and antique textiles, including fragile silks, into legible tailored and outerwear silhouettes with heavy surface texture. Louie cites his Santa Cruz upbringing and architectural training as reference points. Aubero was an LVMH Prize finalist in 2024 and a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund runner-up in 2025, stocked by Maxfield, SVRN and Just One Eye.
