What to know about BED j.w. FORD
BED j.w. FORD is a Tokyo menswear label founded in 2010 by self-taught designer Shinpei Yamagishi with visual director Keisuke Kohsaka. Yamagishi, raised in a fishing village in Ishikawa, builds collections from words, conversations and letters, translating them into a "dressed-up" aesthetic of loose formalwear silhouettes: draped tailoring, oversized blazers, shirting, wide trousers, stoles and layered outerwear in earthy palettes punctuated by sharp color. The brand debuted at Tokyo Fashion Week in 2016, guest-designed for adidas Originals at Pitti Uomo in 2018, and now shows on the Paris men's calendar, presenting its "Roman" Fall/Winter 2026 collection in January 2026.
