Chico's

Chico's is an American women's apparel chain founded in 1983 on Sanibel Island, Florida, now headquartered in Fort Myers. It sells relaxed workwear and travel-oriented separates for women over 40: wrinkle-resistant Travelers knits, No Iron shirting, So Slimming denim, embellished and artisan jackets, plus jewelry and scarves. Sizing uses its own 0-4 numeric system. Private equity firm Sycamore Partners completed a roughly $1 billion take-private acquisition of parent Chico's FAS on January 5, 2024, alongside sister brands White House Black Market and Soma.
