Gauge81 (pronounced "go-sh eighty-one") is an Amsterdam womenswear label founded in 2019 by Colombian-born knitwear designer Monika Silva, developed with the Parrot agency and a small creative team including Vogue Netherlands contributor Gijsje Ribbens. The brand blurs eveningwear and daywear: fine-gauge knit dresses, cut-out and draped jersey pieces, slip dresses, tailored separates and 1990s-leaning miniskirts in muted, skin-toned palettes. Collections launched at wholesale in 2019 and sell through Net-a-Porter, Ssense, Shopbop, Moda Operandi, Browns and Bergdorf Goodman, with a bridal-adjacent summer offering.
