Gola

Gola is a British sports footwear brand founded in a Leicester factory in 1905. It rose to prominence in the 1960s and '70s and now runs two lines: the heritage-inspired Gola Classics, including retro trainers such as the Harrier, Tornado, Torpedo and Grandslam, and performance footwear for running, court sports and football. Jacobson Group, which bought Gola in 1996, was acquired in January 2026 by Japanese conglomerate Marubeni through its Marubeni Consumer Platform US division. Full-price trainers typically cost £80–£100.
