HommeGirls is a New York label and print magazine founded by designer Thakoon Panichgul, who previously ran the Thakoon collection and edited at Harper's Bazaar. It reworks menswear staples for women: white and striped poplin shirting, boxer shorts, ties, tank tops, boxy tailoring, varsity knits and leather jackets, cut in loose borrowed-from-the-boys proportions. The magazine, now past its twelfth volume, shapes the brand's downtown casting and styling, and a Chinatown retail space extends it offline. Stocked direct and through SSENSE.
