James Dant

James Dant is a men's specialty store on East Washington Street in the Irvington neighborhood of Indianapolis, run by founder Tommy Dant, who developed the concept from an award-winning Ball State University business plan. It stocks casual menswear and layering pieces alongside jewelry, apothecary and grooming products such as pomade, candles and home goods, and keeps no women's section. The showroom uses reclaimed wood panelling and exposed brick. Staff write original copy for each product rather than reusing brand text, and the shop ships online orders nationwide.
