Kartik Research
Kartik Research is a New Delhi menswear label founded in 2021 by Kartik Kumra, who launched it while studying economics at the University of Pennsylvania. The brand works with dozens of Indian artisan clusters on kantha quilting, chikankari, zardozi, mirror work and hand-loomed khadi, applied to relaxed chore jackets, camp-collar shirts, pleated trousers and wide shorts in earthy, sun-faded tones. An LVMH Prize semi-finalist in 2023 and 2026, it debuted on the Paris men's calendar in June 2025 and operates stores in Delhi and New York's Lower East Side. Stockists include SSENSE, Mr Porter and Dover Street Market. Shirts run roughly $385-470, jackets $580-880.
