Kiton
Kiton is a Neapolitan tailoring house founded in 1968 by cloth merchant Ciro Paone, who renamed his earlier CI.PA label after the ancient Greek chiton. It remains privately held and family-run from Arzano outside Naples, with Antonio De Matteis as CEO and Maria Giovanna Paone as vice-president and creative director. Production centres on hand-sewn soft-shouldered suits and jackets, shirts, ties and knitwear in cashmere, vicuna and superfine wools, plus womenswear and the younger KNT line. Revenue was roughly 160 million euros in 2022 with about 850 employees.
