Kiton
Kiton is a Neapolitan tailoring house founded in 1968 by cloth merchant Ciro Paone, who renamed his earlier CI.PA label after the ancient Greek chiton. It remains privately held and family-run from Arzano outside Naples, with Antonio De Matteis as CEO and Maria Giovanna Paone as vice-president and creative director. Production centres on hand-sewn soft-shouldered suits and jackets, shirts, ties and knitwear in cashmere, vicuna and superfine wools, plus womenswear and the younger KNT line.
