Loft
LOFT is an American women's apparel chain created in 1998 by Ann Inc. as Ann Taylor's more casual, lower-priced sister label. It sells work-to-weekend wardrobe staples — denim, trousers, knit dresses, sweaters, swimwear, plus jewelry, shoes and accessories — offered across petite, tall and curvy fits, with print, color and relaxed tailoring rather than trend-led design. Sycamore Partners bought the brand out of Ascena Retail Group's 2020 bankruptcy and in 2023 folded it into holding company KnitWell Group alongside Ann Taylor and Talbots. It trades through hundreds of North American full-price and outlet stores and loft.com.
