New York & Company
New York & Company sells women's wear-to-work clothing online: blazers, tailored trousers, sheath dresses, blouses, denim and accessories at mass-market prices. Founded in 1918 as Lerner Shops, it shut its mall stores after parent RTW Retailwinds' 2020 bankruptcy and went digital-only under buyer Saadia Group, which added menswear and a Gabrielle Union line. Saadia defaulted on a $45 million loan and collapsed by March 2024, handing control to lender White Oak Commercial Finance; the brand now trades under ADJHA NY&Co. LLC, alongside plus-size sibling Fashion to Figure.
