O-Project

O-Project is the unisex sister line of Antwerp designer Jan-Jan Van Essche's eponymous label, launched in 2015 as a more accessible counterpart and produced in Japan. Debuting with spring/summer 2016, it applies a "free spirit" ethos to loose, layered garments built around natural and artisanal textiles: linen and hemp-blend shirting, canvas jackets, tunics, jumpsuits and drawstring easy trousers in muted, undyed and off-black palettes. The line remains in production alongside Van Essche's main collections and Soil project, and sells through independent retailers in Europe, Japan and North America.
