Roger Vivier
Roger Vivier is a Parisian luxury footwear and accessories house founded in 1937, credited with the modern stiletto heel in the early 1950s and with the buckled Belle Vivier pump created for Yves Saint Laurent in 1965 and worn by Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour. Italian designer Gherardo Felloni has been creative director since 2018, extending the crystal-buckle signature across pumps, Gommettine flats, Viv sneakers, handbags and jewelry. The house has belonged to Tod's Group since 2015; Tod's went private in 2024 with L Catterton and LVMH backing. Shoes typically run $875-$1,900.
