Valentino Garavani

Maison Valentino is an Italian luxury house founded in Rome in 1960 by Valentino Garavani and business partner Giancarlo Giammetti. The Valentino Garavani label covers its leather goods and footwear: Rockstud and Roman Stud bags, studded pumps and slingbacks, VLogo hardware and the house's signature Rosso Valentino red. Alessandro Michele serves as creative director, succeeding Pierpaolo Piccioli in 2024 and layering maximalist prints and vintage references over couture tailoring. Mayhoola for Investments owns 70%, with Kering holding a 30% minority stake bought in July 2023.
