Rooney

Rooney is an independent multi-brand boutique in Old Montreal, opened in 2006 by Alex Danino and run with his wife Michelle from a small shop at 395 rue Notre-Dame Ouest, with an online store added in 2008. It began around streetwear and skate labels such as Stüssy and Nike and now mixes those with contemporary and designer menswear and womenswear: Comme des Garçons, Our Legacy, Lemaire, Maison Margiela, Acne Studios, mfpen, Totême, Paloma Wool, plus New Balance, Asics and Adidas footwear. Buying leans toward emerging designers and everyday wearability.
