Scanlan Theodore

Scanlan Theodore is an Australian womenswear label founded in Melbourne in 1987 by Gary Theodore and Fiona Scanlan, who sold her share of the business in 2003. Theodore still leads design alongside long-time creative director Maria Sita, with collections developed in-house at the Melbourne studio. The label is built around its crepe knit, a fabric made from Italian-sourced yarn and developed in Australia exclusively for the brand, plus sharp tailoring, silk separates and body-conscious dresses. It operates roughly 20 boutiques internationally, David Jones concessions and e-commerce.
