Sies Marjan

Sies Marjan was a New York luxury womenswear and menswear label founded by Dutch designer Sander Lak, formerly head of design at Dries Van Noten, and named after his parents. It debuted at New York Fashion Week in February 2016 and became known for saturated, unexpected color, fluid tailoring, silk-satin slip dresses, oversized pastel coats and textured knitwear. The company announced its closure in June 2020, citing the COVID-19 pandemic. Rizzoli published a retrospective book, The Colors of Sies Marjan. Lak has since launched a separate label, Sanderlak, in Paris.
