What to know about WANZE
WANZE is the Toronto label founded in 2022 by Chinese-Canadian designer Wanze Song, a Toronto Metropolitan University graduate and trained pattern maker who previously worked at Kiko Kostadinov. The brand makes womenswear and menswear built on innovative pattern-cutting and refined tailoring, reworking wardrobe staples such as chore jackets, smock vests, drape dresses and cinched trousers. Collections use deadstock and high-quality Italian and Japanese fabrics, including bouclé wool, quilted nylon and coated linen, developed and sampled in-house. Stockists include Colbo, No.6, Neighbour and Lost & Found; mainline pieces run roughly $300–$600 CAD.
