1LDK is a Tokyo select-shop group founded in 2008 by Hiroyasu Fukuzawa in Nakameguro, built on the idea of finding the extraordinary within ordinary daily dress. The flagship mixes imported and Japanese labels with its own house line, UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS., drawing on workwear, military, traditional tailoring and sportswear. Across the street, 1LDK apartments., opened in 2012, carries womenswear label MY__, tote bags, caps, fragrance and homeware beside the Taste AND Sense cafe. Buys have included DIGAWEL, Maison Margiela, Scye, Paraboot and VAGUE WATCH CO.
