AESTHER EKME

Aesther Ekme is a Danish leather goods label founded in 2016 in Copenhagen by designer and creative director Stephane Park. It makes minimal, architecturally inspired bags in smooth and grained calfskin, stripping away logos, hardware and decorative trims so that shape and construction carry the design. Core styles include the slouchy Sac and Sac Mini, the structured Demi and Midi totes, and small pouches and wallets. The name combines classicism with 'ekme', a Crimean Tatar word for a traditional shoulder bag. It sells direct online and through retailers including SSENSE.
