Aldo is the flagship footwear and accessories chain of Montreal-based Aldo Group, founded by Aldo Bensadoun in 1972 as a shoe concession inside Le Château and still led by his son, CEO David Bensadoun. It sells trend-driven boots, heels, sneakers, sandals and handbags at accessible prices, promoting cushioned Pillow Walk comfort technology. The group completed restructuring in 2022 after 2020 creditor protection, and now designs licensed footwear for Ted Baker, Brooks Brothers and G H Bass. Sibling banners include Call It Spring and Little Burgundy.
