Rockport

Rockport is an American comfort footwear label founded in 1971 in Marlborough, Massachusetts, by Saul and Bruce Katz, who marketed walking as a healthy alternative to running and were among the first to build athletic soles into dress shoes. The range covers cushioned oxfords, loafers, walking shoes and boots for men and women, plus the Cobb Hill, Aravon and Dunham lines. Authentic Brands Group bought Rockport out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July 2023; Marc Fisher Footwear runs U.S. design, wholesale and e-commerce, and Chapters Brand Group distributes in the U.K. and Ireland.
