ALEKSANDRE AKHALKATSISHVILI

Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili is the eponymous womenswear label of the Tbilisi designer, a Tbilisi State Academy of Arts graduate who won Georgia's Be Next Fashion Design Contest in 2015. The house works in deconstructive minimalism: sharp tailoring, asymmetric cuts, draped jersey and knitwear in muted palettes, presented at Tbilisi Fashion Week. Akhalkatsishvili simultaneously co-designs the Georgian label Matériel with Lado Bokuchava. Collections through Fall/Winter 2025 are carried internationally by retailers including SSENSE and H. Lorenzo, indicating continued production.
