Alien Workshop is a skateboard company founded in 1990 in Dayton, Ohio by Chris Carter, Mike Hill and Neil Blender, one of the few major deck brands built outside California. It makes decks, wheels, hardware and apparel carrying Hill's surreal, conspiracy-tinged graphics and the Dot logo. Its videos — Memory Screen, Timecode, Photosynthesis, Mind Field and Bunker Down — remain reference points for skate filmmaking. The brand shut down in May 2014, relaunched through distributor Tum Yeto in 2015, and has operated independently from Miamisburg, Ohio under Hill since 2016.
