Amundsen Sports

Amundsen Sports is an Oslo-based outdoor clothing label run by founder Jørgen Amundsen, a relative of polar explorer Roald Amundsen. It makes clothing for the Norwegian mountain lifestyle, built mostly from natural fibres: boiled-wool ski sweaters, heritage knitwear, wool base layers and technical shells such as the Peak Anorak and Peak Jacket, which use Swiss Schoeller stretch fabric. Its ideas come from friluftsliv, the Norwegian idea of outdoor living. The founder still leads the company, which reported about NOK 365 million in revenue for 2025.
