AND1 is an American basketball brand founded in August 1993 by Seth Berger, Jay Coen Gilbert and Tom Austin, and is closely tied to streetball culture through the AND1 Mixtape Tour, which ran from 1998 to 2008. The brand makes basketball sneakers such as the Attack 4.0 and Tai Chi, plus hoodies, joggers, shorts, tees, caps and street basketballs, all sold through and1.com. New York-based Galaxy Universal, a Gainline Capital Partners portfolio company, has owned AND1 since 2021. The brand still sponsors NBA and grassroots players.
