Catbird

Catbird is a Brooklyn fine jewelry label founded by Rony Vardi in 2004, starting as a small Williamsburg shop. It makes delicate 14-karat gold pieces — thin stacking rings from about $54, the welded Forever Bracelet, knuckle rings, charms and customizable chains — plus engagement and wedding bands, using recycled gold and conflict-free and lab-grown stones. Over half of production happens in New York City. Private equity firm Victor Capital Partners invested in 2022; the brand stays direct-to-consumer and has expanded to Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago stores.
