Christopher Kane is a London label founded in 2006 by Scottish siblings Christopher and Tammy Kane, built on bondage-strap dresses, neon lace, galaxy and floral prints, crystal-trimmed knits and provocative "sex education" motifs, plus embellished Crocs. Kering held a majority stake from 2013 until the founders bought it back in 2018. The company filed for administration in June 2023 with FTS Recovery appointed; in July 2023 the Kanes reacquired the trade names, trademarks and IP, including sister line More Joy, and the old entity became K Realisations 2023.
