What to know about Commune de Paris 1871
Commune de Paris 1871 is a Paris menswear label founded in 2009 by Alexandre Maïsetti, Sébastien Lyky and Edouard Launay. It takes its name and its motto, "courage & freedom," from the 1871 insurrection. The brand is best known for graphic and slogan tees, sweatshirts and caps, alongside workwear-leaning cabans, chinos and knitwear. It paused in 2019 while looking for an investor and relaunched in 2023 on a pre-order model: it releases pieces one at a time to avoid overproduction.
