Dita Eyewear
DITA is a Los Angeles luxury eyewear house founded in 1995 by childhood friends John Juniper and Jeff Solorio, who applied backgrounds in photography, film and graphic design to 1950s and 1960s frame archetypes. Frames are made in Japan from beta-titanium and Japanese acetate with hand-finishing, screwless hinges and engraved detailing; recurring families include the Mach series, Grandmaster and the Lancier sport line. The group has also developed eyewear for other designer labels. Solorio left the company in 2018; Juniper continues to lead design.
