DiVERGE

DiVERGE is a Lisbon-based footwear label founded by João Esteves and Maria Neves that makes handcrafted, made-to-order sneakers in Portugal. Customers configure models such as Twist Low, Twist High and Ziggy panel by panel, including the dot over the brand's "i". The company is B Corp certified and runs its Imagine programme, training young people from underserved Lisbon neighbourhoods to design sneakers and sharing the revenue, plus a partnership with outsider-art studio MANICÓMIO. It stays deliberately small, operating asset-light with partner factories and a direct-to-consumer model.
